My locality: Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu, India
I have searched a lot and I couldnt find answer to which washing machine to buy with the following things in my mind...

In electrical engineering, automatic controls deals with a system that is capable of operating without input from a human. Though this may sound simple, it is quite an effort. It requires the concept of feedback.
Feedback is a closed loop system in which the actions of the system are used by the system to determine the next operation. For example, the system goes off and does something. Some form or type of sensor provides information back into the system's processing unit. From that information, the processing unit has to make decisions, which in term, affects the actions of the system...(Almost the the concept of the chicken and egg)
The problem with feedback loops is the difficulty of processing enough data so that the system can perform its function without being bogged down in the processing of the data.

90 Honda Accord, I need to know which fuse controls automatic seat belts.?
We parked the car and it was running fine, started back up a few minutes later and had no dashboard instruments and the automatic seat belts are stuck forward. I pulled off the fuse box thing to see which one to change, and none are marked for that. I dont really have extra money till payday in 2 weeks to buy enough fuses to replace them all and don't have an owners manual. Any Honda folks out there with a manual can tell me which one? If you could tell me I'd sure appreciate it since we use this car to get my grandkids to daycare/school for my daughter and she takes bus to work. I'm using the lapbelt for me for now, but am worried if I get stopped I'll get a fix it ticket and the $20 fine. Ok, check under the hood. There will be another fuse box. Look for a 10A or 15A fuse, usually labeled ';SPARE'; This is the back up fuse to all in-cabin features.

the fuse is in the underhood fuse and relay box. That box should be located in the passenger side rear of the engine compartment and it will have a black cover on it that is about 3'; x 5';
the fuse you are looking for will be on the left side of the fuse box. There will be two rows of 5 fuses in a horizontal rows on the extreme left side of the fuse box. The fuse that you need to check and replace if necessary is the middle fuse of the five fuse row on the outermost row of fuses. It will have the number 15 on it as it is a 15 amp fuse.
#1 fuse in the under the dash is the other one you want to check. That fuse is a 10 amp fuse and should be at the start of one of the rows.

Hey man, Time magazine has a special thing out called Mind, its a really good read ( I read it at work on my late shifts) it talks about this like this and theories of what consciousness really is ,it really boggles the mind :D

Alpha -- 14 -20
Beta -- 20 and above

The switch that controls your shifting? Do you mean the button you depress to go from P to D and R etc? Or did someone tell you you need a NSS (Neutral Safety Switch)? You need to specify. Either can be fixed though. The button is VERY EASY all you need is a new shift knob from auto zone or anywhere. To get yours off just pull REALLY HARD and it comes off, then install the new one. If the NSS than you need to go to a shop, that will cost you around $300 parts + labor.

I need to know whether an automatic pressure pump (Water pump + motor on/off control unit) will work?
The details are as follows:
1. Dimension of the loft tank: length X width X height = 1095mm X 720mm X 435mm
2. Loft tank capacity: 270 liters
3. Height of the tank above the tap (if that matters): 4.5 feet (1372mm)
Since water from this tank does not have enough pressure required (Specifications describe the adequate pressure as that created by a vertical tank containing 700/800 liters of water) to operate a washing machine, I plan to install a water pump and a automatic control unit that turns on and off the water pump when the tap is turned on to provide the required pressure.
However, the automatic control unit requires that water have a minimum pressure of 1.5 bars to operate the control unit itself. I would like to know if the control unit itself will operate with the tank dimension that I have when this control unit and the water pump is fitted immediately below the tank?
My second question is whether a 1 horse power motor will provide the adequate pressure required by the washing machine?
Can someone provide the formula to calculate the water pressure (in bars) for the given dimension of the tank?I need to know whether an automatic pressure pump (Water pump + motor on/off control unit) will work?

density x height x gravitational constant (9.81)
u have to put parameters in untis accordingly to get answer in bars

For these new therapies (called ';acceptance-based'; therapies), the focus is not on forcing away the thought or trying to change it, but instead trying to decrease the anxiety and importance given to the thought. Research has shown that MOST people have strange thoughts (eg. sex with religious figures, germ thoughts, thoughts about harming others, etc), but that most people attach no importance to these thoughts (so they don't worry about them or they very quickly forget about them). For someone with OCD, they give more importance to their thought than what is warranted (they don't see their thought as ';just a thought'; and harmless, they see it as very threatening and reality based- ex: ';If I have a thought about hurting someone, it must mean I'm a bad person';). Here's the kicker: the more they try NOT to think about the thought, the more they think about the thought (white bear phenomenon).

5-speed electronically controlled automatic?
i have a friend who has a equinox 2005. we cant seem to figure out if there is a place to add and check for trans.fluid( dex-3) i have looked it up and i know it shifts differently but i also know it still uses hydralic fluid. does anyone out there have any answers for me?5-speed electronically controlled automatic?

Jettas and Golfs break just as much as Saabs, and are equally, if not more expensive to fix. I've got a 2001 9-5 V6 which has 175k miles on the odometer as of yesterday. It still runs great, but I have had to put a considerable amount of money (~$3k) into maintenance over the past year or so, which is expected with this kind of mileage. I still love the car though; it's a blast to drive! In 2002 they upgraded the body style on the 9-5. Within the 2001-2002 range I would look for a used V6 3.0t rather than a 2.3t. While a great engine the 2.3t is prone to sludge which will destroy the engine. Keep up with the timing belt and tensioners on the V6 every 60k and it's truly a wonderful engine.Which one? 1999-2004 jetta/golf or 2001-2002 saab 93/95. A 2000 model year car will not have a carburetor. EFI systems all have throttle plates and throttle bodies.
Second, unless I'm mistaken, cars around that year don't have anything called a ';idle speed controller'; in them. The closest thing to this is called the IAC (Idle air control) step motor, and while this cuold be the problem there are too many possibilities for you to just replace it out of nowhere. The best thing to do is take it to a drivability shop and have them do a scan on it to see what all the sensors are doing.

First of all, your description tells me that you have a carburetor. If that is the case, your engine does not have fuel injectors.
Carbon buildup on the venturi (butterfly) suggest you got problems with the filters. Are you using aftermarket foam filters? If so, be sure to keep the foam filter cleaned and oiled regularly.
Buy a can of spray carb cleaner, with the engine running at fast idle, spray into the venturi chamber. This should remove the carbon deposits and hopefully other gunk thats surrounding the jets.
If the problem persists, load up on premium high grade fuel and once the engine has properly warmed up drive around in low gear at high speed maintaining 3000+ rpms for at least 30seconds. If you are on a budget, just buy fuel additives and put the entire contents into your tank.
There should be at least some improvement. If problem still persists, then you probably have a problem with the carb and will need servicing.

Well, usually cats aren't very good at self-regulating their diets and end up overweight. I would go ahead and just put all the food they're apportioned for each day in there, and when it's gone, it's gone.
This way, they can eat at their leisure and you won't have to do feed them more than once a day. Just look at the directions on the packaging, and if it says 1 1/2 cups for each per day, just go ahead and put in three cups of food for both of them. Then just refill 24 hours later.

1999 Ford Taurus Automatic Climate Control Stereo Install?
Now before everyone tells me I can't do this, hear me out. I know that no company sells a cradle for a Taurus with ACC because it would be too expensive... But I have a really nice Pioneer deck %26amp; speakers, DUAL amp, and Sondpex 10'; speakerbox for the back.
I want to know if someone out there knows anyone who has done a custom install of an aftermarket deck in a situation like I'm in. It would really help to know what work is ahead of me. My family is really experienced at installing car audio but this will be my first time working on a project that requires (what I imagine will be) tons of custom work.
So any links, advice, info would be much appreciated... As I hope that this project will be able to help others who have ACC and are stuck with Ford's lame stereo.1999 Ford Taurus Automatic Climate Control Stereo Install?
Rabb, the tricky part in this car is the automatic climate control; ie, digital push buttons instead of rotary knobs. There are no climate control switches that can be removed from the factory module and mounted on a kit; it's all internal. As far as I know, there's no kit for vehicles with this option.
I've seen decks mounted in the center console pocket in front of the shifter, and I've also seen them mounted vertically in the center console pocket (though not all CD players work well in a vertical position). You might try looking through the member pictures at cardomain.com; someone there might have done what you're trying to do. I don't get it... this isn't a custom job by far.
You just buy the installation kit that goes with it. It will pull your entire radio/climate controls out. You unscrew the climate controls from the back of the old one, and put them on the new install kit. Then you wire up your harness and mount your cage and your done. Some of those vehicles require you to run a full harness to the rear of the car to a factory amplifier. You would then just wire it up and run it to the drivers rear of the trunk to the amp and plug it in. No Big deal. I have probably done at least 70 of these cars in my career, and I would suggest just having a local shop do it, because this car can be a bit frustrating just for the head-unit, but if you're a hands on person, then go for it. just watch out when you pull the climate controls off the stock deck, they have a tendency to stay in and break, so be careful.
FYI, Get rid of that Dual amp (piece of Junk) and that soundpex box is crap. Sell it so someone stupid and get a few bucks for it, and upgrade your stuff. Its not going to sound that great, and you would be wasting your time and money if you were to install them.

What is automatic temperature control in washers? Is it important?
I'm looking at models from LG and from Whirlpool, and I noticed that some of the models in the same price range compare but the one from LG (WM2455HW ) does not have temperature control, although the one from Whirlpool (WFW9200SQ) has. I've read in several places that automatic temperature control is important but I don't understand how exactly it works since both models seem to be giving controls (about 5 levels) to set the water temperature. I'm interested in buying the model from LG (Whirlpool is good but is most likely not going to fit in my laundry area). Is it really that important that I should consider paying up for it? ';ASC'; Automatic Stability Control Problem?
when my ASC control light is off, my car will sparadically lundge forward(either lunge or pulling back not sure) for a short period while i am trying to accelerate and when I push the button and the light comes on i doesnt do this. I think that i am turning it off by bringing the light on because when i turn the car on the light is off so i think when the ASC is on the light is off and when it is off the light is on. But my problem is the jumping. Why is it doing this and is there a way i can fix it by myself. You can not fix this yourself. Not in your dreams when you have a BMW. And you are right that the ASC/DSC is turned off when you push the button and the light goes on.
The car basically needs reprogramming of its power train modules
(EGS primarily which is the transmission module) as the first step.
But at its age, the car would definitely benefit from a complete scan with a BMW GT1 (which only a dealer and some advanced independents have) which I would also recommend.
The more reason that a scan is needed in the off chance that your car has a manual transmission.
But if you are not really interested in having it fixed why did you go to this forum in the first place? Just run it down to the ground.';ASC'; Automatic Stability Control Problem?

Automatic Heat-Control on my MacBook Pro?
I have a MacBook Pro (Merom processor, pre-February Update, and it has been my concern that my macbook pro gets VERY HOT, to the tune of 180 degrees fahrenheit. Using SMCFanControl, i have been able to keep this below 120 degrees fahrenheit. Yet, I am not sure that keeping my fan on 6000 rpm (normal speed when the computer is not hot by default is 1200). Is there a way to make a script change SMCFanControl's preset from my normal to High RPM setting automatically when the temperature goes above 140? (versus mac automatic of 160). Hey guys I want to buy a Rule-Mate 750 automatic bilge pump from west marine for my aquasport. However, I know how unpredictable the word ';automatic'; is when we're talking about a bilge pump so I want to control my pump with a nice 3-way (Auto, Off, Manual On) bilge switch panel made by Rule themselves. However, my logic tells me that the bilge pump will need 3 wires coming out of it for everything to work well. One would be ground, the other would be 12v to the built in float switch and another would be 12v bypassing the float switch for auto on. How to reinstall automatic gate wiring?
We tore out a driveway and it's been hard to find the person that knows how to reinstall the wiring.
Wiring had two lines together coming out and and then, all of them connecting and making 3 circles under the old asphalt.
Can some one explain how?

Now Computer Operated Gate Controles are available in the Market.While selecting the Device you have to take much care about selecting the Driving Motor.It should be a GOOD Quality.

If it wasn't the ';normal'; (and ONLY) way that microsoft notifies you of updates, then what you did was install a virus on your system.
If you have an AMD processor system with XP, especially an HP, and it was Service Pack 3 that you installed, call HP or Microsoft... SP3 hosed your system because of the faulty way HP installed XP...

I have a 99 civix EX with 95K with perfect automatic transmission, but my cruise control doesnt engage?
When I press Cruise on the steering wheel, the lights come on green on the dashboard, so I assume that part is working. However when i hit SET on the steering wheel, nothing happens or sometimes the cruise tries to work, and the automatic transmission tries to act up funny (starts to jerk ), so I press Cruise again to take it off. Is your speedometer working right? It could be your speed sensor.
Check the fuses.
double check the brake light switch over the brake pedal......if it's not adjusted correctly the cruise control might think you are touching the brakes and try to shut down.....there may be two switches up there..one for brakes and one for cruise control........hope this helps
